Pharmix Transport

Multiple distributors. One coordinated delivery operation.

Bring orders from different wholesalers and distributors into a shared dispatch workflow while preserving who owns each order. Pharmix Transport is a planned standalone transport management system for allocating trucks and drivers, arranging delivery runs and returning signatures, photographs and exceptions to the right business. Its proposed scope builds on trip-run and delivery workflows already used within the WMS.

What this product covers

Practical controls with a record behind the work

One order pool, clear distributor ownership

The proposed import layer accepts agreed feeds from multiple wholesalers or distributors. Each order retains its source organisation, customer, document reference and integration status so that consolidation does not mix up ownership.

  • Source-specific CSV/API field mappings
  • Duplicate detection and import-error review
  • Organisation-scoped access and evidence

Delivery runs shaped around real appointments

Build dated runs, sequence stops and record booking times. Group orders for the same destination where appropriate while retaining separate distributor documents and customer instructions.

  • Dated runs and ordered delivery stops
  • Booking windows and delivery instructions
  • Multiple source orders at a shared stop

The right truck and driver for the run

Assign a vehicle and driver, review the planned pallet load and identify unassigned work. Proposed weight, volume and temperature-zone checks would be configured against agreed fleet and order data.

  • Driver and vehicle allocation
  • Pallet quantities and load review
  • Proposed capacity and suitability checks

A clear driver handover

Publish the agreed run with stop details, contact instructions and document references. The proposed driver view tracks progress through arrival, delivery and exception capture without losing the order behind a task.

  • Published run and sequenced stop list
  • Delivery instructions and linked notes
  • Driver status updates and dispatcher visibility

Proof of delivery for every source order

Connect the planned Sign & Evidence product to collect named signatures, camera photographs, quantities and refusal reasons. Return each result to its originating order instead of treating the whole stop as one undifferentiated delivery.

  • Signature and camera evidence
  • Partial, failed and refused outcomes
  • Order-specific evidence and returns

Exceptions, reattempts and operational review

Keep failed deliveries and follow-up work visible to dispatchers. Proposed reports cover completed stops, outstanding evidence and delivery exceptions, with agreed exports back to source systems.

  • Failed-delivery reasons and reattempt planning
  • Outstanding evidence and run completion review
  • Source-system status and evidence exports

Questions worth resolving together

Discuss an early-access pilot
Is this already a separate transport platform?

Not yet. This page describes the planned standalone product. Existing WMS trip runs include vehicles, drivers, ordered stops, booking times, pallet quantities and failed-delivery flags. Multi-distributor onboarding, isolation, connectors and the standalone driver experience require further development.

Does it automatically optimise routes using live traffic?

Live-traffic optimisation is not promised in the initial scope. Start with dispatcher-controlled sequencing and agreed travel-time data. Automated routing, mapping providers, traffic feeds and their costs would be scoped separately.

Can each distributor only see its own orders?

That is a core requirement of the proposed standalone design. Organisation permissions, evidence access and integration credentials must be implemented and tested before onboarding multiple businesses.

Can it support temperature-controlled deliveries?

Vehicle suitability and handling instructions are part of the proposed planning scope. ColdSense360 could add commissioned monitoring for selected equipment; a live temperature or location feed is not assumed. The operator retains responsibility for transport and quality procedures.
